It’s always refreshing to spend time at the Land (J8: Johnson 8 Acres) up in north Louisiana. Sometimes it’s work the whole time, cutting 4 acres, picking up limbs, sweeping the shop, wiping down the kitchen, blah blah, blah.

But most of the time we get to see and spend time with our friends. We eat, build a fire, sit and visit, or we all get our side by sides and take a late evening ride through the deer lease. Regardless, we have a ton of fun being together.

Everyone needs a retreat to regroup and regenerate their soul, body, mind, and spirit. If you don’t have a place to retreat to … find one. You need it.

You could retreat right now to the back porch, a park, or lakeside. Take your spouse, a friend, or a family member. But just do it.
